From communities to you
Talana is a Brisbane based social enterprise that connects Australian customers with artisans from developing countries.
Featured table runners
Our Table runners are exclusive hand-painted and hand-printed textiles whilst practicing fair trade and helping the local communities, by employing and training previously disadvantaged people. Our designs draw inspiration from nature, textiles, just about anything, innovative designs, quality finishes, that's what you want from a table runner.

About us
Talana was founded in Brisbane Australia in 2009 by Beate and Gino Nicolella, a couple who had lived and worked in Africa for many years. They were passionate about sustainable tourism and respecting the culture, heritage and environment of the places they visited. They also saw how tourism could create opportunities for local artisans to showcase their skills and sell their products to travelers.
